About The Event
Join us as at our Defence and Security Conference (TriCyCIS) and formal Post-Conference Dinner on 1st July 2026.
This Flagship event will be held once again in the magnificent setting of Royal Holloway, University of London in Egham, Surrey. The theme of the day-long conference will be “Delivering the SDR, one year on. What is changing in the cyber and EM, intelligence and digital communities?” and it will be chaired by Mike StJohn Green.
It will be 12 months since the release of the UK’s Strategic Defence Review entitled ‘Making Britain safer, secure at home, strong abroad’. The SDR is the MOD’s “Plan for Change” following a root and branch review aiming to address generational defence and security challenges. Amongst the 62 recommendations was a clearly articulated need for integration, partnerships and digital transformation in Defence.
Now that we have new leadership across all of the Military Commands and a new National Armaments Director, it is timely to explore how defence is implementing the Plan for Change.
The Conference will provide an off the record platform to highlight initial successes and some of the challenges that the Cyber, Intelligence and Digital functions face in contributing to making Britain safer: secure at home, strong abroad.
Speakers will be drawn from a wide range of expertise and experience from across Defence / Government / Business & Academia, enabling the audience to hear from key leaders delivering the plan for change and tackling these critical challenges. Speakers will provide updates and insights to fuel discussions that will be facilitated throughout the day and on into the formal post conference dinner.
